Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

Atlas Index collects minimal data to provide our service. When you search, we log the search query for trending/analytics purposes. We do not track individual users unless you create an account via GitHub OAuth, in which case we store your GitHub username, email, and profile URL to associate with your claimed listings.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide search results and listing data
• To generate ecosystem reports and trending search data
• To associate claimed listings with their owners
• To send notifications about your claimed listings (health changes, new features)

Third-Party Services

We use GitHub for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and standard cloud infrastructure providers for hosting. Each has their own privacy policies governing data they process on our behalf.

Data Retention

Search logs are retained for 90 days for analytics purposes. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Cookies

Atlas Index uses only essential cookies for authentication (JWT session token). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
